I copied the below from the AppleVis newsletter. This is a new approach to getting audio description in the theater using your iPhone. They only have Cars 3 right now, but are planning to have more movies soon. The more people that download the app and go through the tutorial, the more insentive both the developer and Hollywood have in making movies with audio description available this way. Note, when you start the app for the first time, you will need wired headphones plugged in because when you get to the download portion, it won't work without headphones, to train us that we won't be able to annoy the people around us in the movie theater by playing the audio description over the iPhone speaker, grin. They recommend downloading the movie content over WiFi at home so you won't have to use cellular data at the theater.
