I am confident that Microsoft will resolve the broken accessibility in Skype shortly. If folks did not update the app, there is no accessibility issue.
google cannot seem to make up its mind about VOIP solutions. Many in the United States who use VOIP use Google Hangouts. Calls are free to any phone in the United States or Canada, including Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. While Duo might have better quality than Skype, between Hangouts, Skype, Facetime and Facebook, it is likely that the other party will have one of these options and not want to download Google's latest project.
