In addition to Kim’s “correct” answer, thought I’d suggest that you try hooking up your card to ApplePay, which would give you both the use of ApplePay and then via it, use of Uber. I’ve used ApplePay on a few ocasions, and it’s very nice, and the merchants don’t get to see your credit card number when you use it, so no chance of having it stolen.
