Hello all. I'm not trying to nitpick, especially because I know many of
you are receiving your iPhone 5 soon and because many of you
successfully updated to iOS6. However, due to the increased list traffic
of late, please please consider your message when you send it. Is it
really necessary for all 1300 plus members to know that you updated to
iOS6? Is it really necessary for all 1300 plus members to read your
thanks message to that one person who helped you out?
Please don't get me wrong, post all the discussions you want, especially
if there are problems, issues, or questions you have concerning iOS6 or
any other iOS related product, but just keep in mind that it might not
be necessary to get a play by play account of your update, your iPhone 5
delivery, or something equally useless.
Lastly, due to the increased nature of the list, there will be many of
the same questions posted to the list about new iOS features or similar.
Remember that this list has an archive which is very easy to use located
at http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] and it will be a
great resource. In fact, you will get an answer quicker by searching the
archive instead of firing off your message and then having to sift
through hundreds of messages to get that answer.
Thanks all for helping to make this list run as smoothly as possible.
