I have an iPad Mini 4. I just got this app. Haven't opened it yet.
I don't think I have a light. At least, my money identifier tells me when it
doesn't have enough light. I just have to make sure my room light is on.

Go to menu and then setting and turn off the light button. That is why it is
using a lot of battery because the light is on and they get hot. I turned my
light off and it seems to still scan ok.
