Hi Evan, Glad to see you're getting better results from the app. It is really neat once you get used to it. Hope all keeps going well for you and stay away from the Ron Drugs. Pig care.
Kay Malmquist Ask me about healthy chocolate! Yes, there is such a thing and it's good to. It doesn’t recognize everything. I tried I think about ten items so far and it couldn’t recognize the can of fruit I tried and my gallon of milk. I tried them both twice and got the same result. Also, one of the Knor side dishes I tried was misrecognized as Musinex (spelling) cough for kids or something. I knew that wasn’t what it was, so I tried it again and it got it right the second time. I don’t think I would rely on this for something critical like medicine just yet. Of the other eight or so items I tried, I not only got the name but also cooking directions. Definitely won’t starve with this app either! <smile> It still takes some jimmying around with my iPad Mini, and sometimes turning the box or package helps. Moving slowly is key here, something I tend to forget. I want to zip around and get results instantly. So thanks guys. I’m definitely happier with it. Oh yes, and I tried the Scene Beta one more time, taking the same picture in the kitchen I took the first time. This time it said I was in a kitchen with a stove and a sink. I was facing the stove, but the sink was behind me, so I don’t know how it knew that, unless it was just guessing. Much better than the first time though, no doubt about it. Still no luck with the Person feature. No People Detected is all I’m getting for that. Overall, though, this app is looking better than it did at first.
