Thanks, Richard...that is what I suggested because something similar
happened to my SE before. He did not realize that his battery was so
low. Now the 6+ seems to be greedily recharging.

it, put it to sleep, lay it down and came back to use it some more 10ish
minutes later. At that time, it would not work for him. He says it was not
low on the battery. He needs to know what to try to get the phone working for
him before he makes a dreaded trip to Verizon.
Any helpful thoughts and ideas on what to try would be greatly appreciated.
