If you buy an Apple TV it always comes with a remote. Especially on the fourth generation Apple TV I find the remote you get with it works great, I for one don’t care to unlock my iPhone each time I want to do something. You can also pair a bluetooth keyboard with an Apple TV and this is handy if you like to type in search requests for music or movies or to enter user names and passwords.
