hi, if you get a text from a person tht's not in your contacts. click on the message. at the top of hte message to the right of the back button it'll have said number. at the top right of the screen there is a more info button. double tap that it'll take you to a details screen. the number there is a button. double tat that. There you should see the options to add to existing contact or create new contact.
