And that from somebody who uses gmail? Google is the worst when it comes to
collecting, using and selling your information. They recently announced that
they will no longer read all your email so they can push advertising to you
based on what you write in our email, for 10 years they have been doing this
and nobody cares. If you don't want your information to get used then stop
using the internet, cell phones and do all your transactions in cash. Of course
you must not order anything online, send email or use Facebook, but not using
the internet at all would include this.
This keeps coming up from time to time and we can discuss it until the sun
rises in the west. There is no solution except for what I said, otherwise just
use whichever precautions you feel necessary, use whichever apps or services
you trust and otherwise just get on with things. Microsoft certainly isn't
worse than Google when it comes to collecting your information and I'd probably
say not quite as bad. Apple is certainly the biggest privacy proponent in the
industry and the one large corporation who has the least reason to collect your
data except for their own services and experiences, but they are not in the
advertising business and don't need to sell it to make money.

Regards,
Sieghard

sorry, I can't blame him. it's microsoft, after all. look up what they've been
collecting about you. that's not to say I won't try the app, but it's useful
that he reminded us.
