This is what I do. First, I set my watch to keep the current app open, so when I tap the screen during my workout, I am right on my workout screen. The way to set this is to do the following: Open the watch app on your phone. Go to general then swipe to Wake Screen and double tap. Now swipe to, on screen show last app. You will have different choices, double tap always. Now after starting your workout, I swipe on my watch to the information you want to get, like distance, time remaining, etc, and leave the focus there. Now Every time you tap your watch, the focus will remain on the information you want, and it will read it to you. I hope this has been helpful.
