I have a related question. Regarding the various streaming services,
i.e. netflix, hulu etc., it really frustrates me that I have found no
way to actually search the content unless I actually sign up for an
account. Has any list member done a serious a-b comparison of these
services trying to determine which has the widest variety of content. If
so, I would certainly like to know your findings.
I tend to like older classic movies. But when I had a trial of Hulu, I
found very little in the way of classic movies. Lots and lots of
relatively current stuff, but few classic movies.

I am sort of thinking of getting rid of Netflix. I am kind of disappointed
in it. I do have other services like Acorn TV and Starz, and Feeln, so I
know what you mean about mounting costs for streaming services. Given the
state of my budget, I may have to cut some of that too.
And I have Cable, only because it provides channels with older programming
like MeTV and Antenna and Retro, and now we have Light TV.
But I do realize if I lived elsewhere, and had a really great indoor antenna
I could get those on OTA tv but I live on a property with a wall of trees
surrounding it and it doesn't give me a good reception.
So it's hard to know what to do. But I will still support the efforts of
something like Pureflix because I want them to know I believe a service like
that is needed.

quality tv, rather than the junk that is on network and even cable tv

My personal opinion. So even if Pureflix didn't offer a ton of stuff,

I'm probably not doing a good job of it, but that's the best way I
know how to.
