Dear voyeur Sandy, Sieghard said he put his iPhone in airplane mode and the Short Text channel worked fine. The person channel will tell you the number of faces, but to get anything more, you have t to have the internet. I just tested it with my iPod Touch 6 in airplane mode and can confirm, the Short Text channel works fine. Nothing else works as intended and gives the message, unable to contact the server …
So, at least the short text will be useful in spite of your broadband speed. I think, if you haven’t, you should write Microsoft and encourage them to get it released in the UK.
