Does the thermostat you mention support Homekit/SIRI? The nice thing with EchoBee is that it does support Homekit/SIRI and also that you can get a variety of sensors which hcan be installed in different rooms tro monitor temperature/humidity etc. If I didn't already have the connected thermostats from www.RadioThermostat.com I would seriously consider EchoBee as well.

But I am using another one from Emberson technologies. It is called Cincy. The thermostat is purchasable from your local Home Depot store. And the app is a free download in the App Store. The app is mostly accessible, the only thing is, you may need sided assistance on setting up the thermostat at first.
