If that doesn't work you can try to go to Settings > General > Reset and do a Reset Network Settings. I know that again this sounds like it has little to do with it, but it's surprising how many issues including battery drainage issues this can sometimes fix. If you try this it will reboot your phone as part of the process and the only two things that get reset are the phone's name and the WiFi passworeds. This means that if you named your phone "Gary's iPhone" or something like that it would get reset to just "iPhone". You would simply go to Settings > General > About and rename it again. Your WiFi password or passwords would need to be entered, i.e. you have to reconnect to your WiFi network and enter the password when prompted.
