I think it's difficult to say if it's too complicated before you use it and get 
used to it.
You can describe many things in a way which may sound complicated so I'll just 
wait and see how it is once I have it.

Yes, I have to say I am not a fan of the cover sheet either.

One thing Android does do exceptionally well is notifications. "apple could do 
with taking a leafe out of Google's book here, as in this regard apple is way 
behind.
