The talking thermostat 3000 is not the type you can operate through an app on a smart phone. It is a stand alone thermostat that is audible.
I’ve had mine for about 8 months. It works great, but I still can’t figure out how to set different programs; one for day and one for night. The online videos from the company just don’t give a verbal description of a couple of buttons needed to set up a program. It’s like two out of several buttons that are needed, but not labeled in the video.
