Hi Marie, If you have music on your computer you do have to share that drive with Sonos. You may have to use the desktop controller on the computer to do this, I am not sure if you can do this with the Ios APP. The desktop app is very accessible wth Jaws, you just have to tab, use the right arrow to expand things and enter to select, the Alt key bring up menus you can navigate with the arrow keys etc. Once it’s set up correctly you will see all of your music on the PC in the Sonos controller also on your iPhone, you can’t reallly play directly from iTunes to Sonos, but you can on the Sonos controller on your iPhone select the “This iPhone” and if all your iTunes music is also on your iPhone then you can play it that way.

I downloaded the sonos software on my pc. There is an option to select music, so I selected my iTunes musidc library and now, from the sonos program on the PC I can play music. It sounds as if one can indeed create playlists with the sonos program but I have not tried that. I shall be curious as to what the sonos experts say about your question.
