After selecting the daily puzzle you want to play, swipe down to the very bottom. Here you will find a back button, subject of puzzle selected & a start iPad button. Tap on the Start iPad button. Now you are ready to play.
I want to also point out each clue tells you how many letters there is in the answer. For example if the clue is "The lion & the (3) underscores" there is three letters in the answer.
