Kelby, I don't think so. There used to be severall apps out there that were alternatives, like Facely HD, Status Report, and others. However, somewhere in the last year or so I read that Facebook locked down their experience so people have to use the main FB app. We just have to adjust like the rest of the folks out there. It can be frustrating, but I'm mostly able to do what I want such as liking posts, commenting, sharing, and posting updates myself. If you wanted something simpler, you could try going to the mobile site at: www.m.facebook.com That is designed for mobile browsers and accessible posting. For what it's worth, I've tried using the main website and I gave up a long time ago. The app works well compared to that foolishness. However, just wait, there will be someone on list who says that they have no trouble using FB on the computer. Go figure.
