I've used Fleksy since its original release as an iOS keyboard alternative involving copying and pasting, the renaming of that app to Fleksy VO, and the Fleksy Keyboard which was released shortly after the iOS update that allowed third party keyboards. I've tried updating my Fleksy Keyboard with the 8.3 version that came out on 7/25/17 and am getting peculiar results. The app starts downloading after I execute the update button but after it reaches 100%, nothing else happens and then I receive an error message that the app could not be downloaded. I'm curious whether anyone previously using the older version of Fleksy Keyboard was successful at upgrading to this latest version. Nothing was mentioned in the instructions about needing to uninstall the previous version before upgrading and I don't believe I would do that anyway since I would lose any customization done with the previous version. I can't say I was overly impressed with the press release by ThingThing which acquired Fleksy because it read sort of like they were going to keep the name and re-do the Fleksy Keyboard which I'm not confident will retain its current features that I depend upon. I also hit a brick wall trying to locate a support address to which I could send my question regarding my update issue with the latest version. I would welcome comments from any list members who updated to the recent version 8.3 as to how you did the upgrade and what your impressions of it are. Thanks in advance.
