And you can also do the single finger flick down to delete Reminders and Favourites from your Favourites in the Phone app. Unfortunately it does not work to delete calls in the Recent Calls log, maybe an oversight as that would be super handy.
I'm rather disappointed that Apple hasn't improved the filtering in the Recent Call list. Still only "All" and "Missed", why can't they add "Incoming" and "Outgoing" and then allow one to delete just the calls you are currently looking at, e.g. if I filter for "Missed" calls and have 10 calls in my list I'd like to be able to delete those 10 calls and not the entire call log. I was even able to do this on my old Windows 6.1 smartphone 4 years ago.
