Greetings. I am having a weird issue on my iPhone 4, running iOS 6,
though the issue started a few days ago when I was still on iOS 5.1.1.
Basically, if I am in the messages app, lock my phone, and then
anywhere from a few minutes to a little while later unlock it, I am
not returned to the same app I was in. Instead, I am put on one of my
home screens. I thought it might have to do with the diminishing space
on my phone, so before I updated to iOS 6, I removed about 24 GB of
music. However, the problem is still happening with iOS 6. I haven't
put all the songs back on my phone, going to wait till I get the new
iPhone since it has double the space I had before. Any ideas why the
phone drops me on a home screen when unlocking? Has anyone else seen
this with an iPhone 4 or perhaps 3GS?

Regards,
Wayne Merritt
