Sieghard, As you know, we all have our different preferences, and I find the iTunes approach difficult due to iTunes odd behavior with all Windows screen readers. I will post my steps for GoldWave in a separate message. I’d like to point out that GoldWave is good for all kinds of audio editing, not just for ringtones. The iTunes approach is fine for those who only want to do RingTones.

You can try it out for free. www.goldwave.com<http://www.goldwave.com> There are Jaws Scripts for older versions of Jaws, but they work in Jaws 18 with the latest Goldwave. Goldwave can be a bit daunting at first, but it is a fabulous program that the developer makes accessible for screen reader users. Most everything can be done with keystrokes.
