I use the Walmart app myself, having an order delivered to my
apartment today for the same reasons as you. But, when I get to
the checkout screen, I am always careful that I select the
shipping option, rather than the pick up one. What I'm saying is
that, I believe on the checkout screen somewhere, there is a way
to edit your shipping or pick up options. In fact, I
inadvertently hit the pick up button once; and, although I don't
remember everything on that screen, I do believe I saw a place
for the name of the person who would be picking up my items.
Also, the exact wording might not be pick up, but it is quite
clear that the items would go to the store you have chosen. I
selected my store quite some time ago, so hope you already have
as well. If not, when looking at the app quickly, there is a
store finder item in the tools tab of the app. Although I do
like Amazon for some things, I very often find Walmart to be a
bit cheaper on the grocery type things they will ship.

Subject: Wal-Mart App Users - How Can I ...
I frequently use the Wal-Mart iOS app to have items shipped to my
home. This is a wonderful service that gives the freedom to buy
some of the exact things I want. However, I’ve learned that
having glass jars shipped isn’t a particularly good idea. I
would like to submit an order to myu local Wal-Mart that
employees would put up so I could stop in (with whomever is
driving for me) to pick up said order. Can anybody on this list
offer tips on how this is done?

arguing about the glass of water, I drank it!
