Hello, As I understand it the key to what charger to buy is determined by the rate the battery can be charged and the current supplied by the charger.
For example, I have an Anker battery with a capacity of 10000 MAH. This can be charged with a current of 2 Amps. When I first bought the battery I used to charge it with my iPhone charger which I believe supplied 1.5 Amps. I then bought an Anker 6 port 60 Wat charger. This supplied 2 Amps per port and reduced the time to charge the battery and meant I could charge other devices at the same time. Not only did this mean I reduced the number of chargers I required (useful when going away) but all devices were charged at full speed. My second battery an Anker 26800 MAH has three ports so can charge three devices simultaneously. Not only this but it has two charging ports too. It will accept a charge of 4 Amps. Coupled with my Anker charger I can recharge the battery quite quickly. Hope this helps. They all advertise that they can charge phones and other devices, but none of the specs say they are meant to charge the large batteries. What specs should I look for so I would know the charger would be adequate? Thanks for any information.
