Are you speaking of the Voyager Legend? The Legend uses a magnetic connector
for charging. I do not know of any other way to charge it.

It doesn’t seem to be properly charging when attached to my computer. I had
a Plantronics edge which fell out of my pocket. I still have the base for
it. Could I charge the Voyager in the charging base for the edge? When I
used to charge the Edge it would do the same thing when plugged directly
into the computer. It charged better on the base. My Voyager didn’t come
with one.
