How will this effect itunes file sharing? From: Grant Hardy Sent: Tuesday, September 12, 2017 7:10 PM To: Viphone List Subject: New iTunes 12.7 removes the App Store
Hi all, It appears that iTunes 12.7, released today for PC and Mac, has removed the ability to download, update and sync iOS apps, as well as the ability to download ringtones. Looks like if you have a specific custom ringtone or app on your computer that is no longer in the store, you can manually copy it to your iOS device, but otherwise you are expected to download this content on the device itself. I’m not sure if it will be possible to update apps on our computers in the future, as many folks like to do in case a new version of an app breaks accessibility.
