First of all, most of my listening I do at home so why not. Second, if I were out and about somewhere then I'm sure I could stream via my LTE connection just as I can stream Apple music, Youtube Videos etc. I guess if you don't have much data you might not want to do this, but I have 6 Gb of data included with my monthly unlimited Canada wide talk and text plan and almost never even get to 1 Gb since when I have my normal routine I am at my store from 8 or 9 AM until 6 or 6:30 PM and of course I am on WiFi there and then I go home where I am on WiFi again. My "commute" is a 20 minute leisurely walk from my house to my store, if I'm in a real rush I can do it in about 12 or 13 minutes. I usually listen to a book during this walk with just the right side of the Earpods in my ear because I live in a small town and I have just one intersection to cross where I stop the book and take the Earpods out even though there is an audible signal on the traffic light, but you never know when some idiot driver doesn't pay attention. Anyways, if I could stream I would totally do that and only download if I am going away which usually means I am on an airplane for an hour and 45 minutes, I have not have downloaded music to my phone ever since I subscribed to Apple Music when it came out.
