I think you go into your iCloud settings and remove that device. Hi, If a phone has already been reset but not the ICloud sign out component, is there any way to do so, i.e. sign out of iCloud account on a device no longer in possession? Thanks, Keith -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Woody Anna Dresner Sent: Friday, September 22, 2017 10:55 AM To: VIPhone Mailing List Subject: Re: Two factor authentication Hi, Make sure the iPhone 6 is on when you do the upgrade, and the code will come to it. There's also a feature in iOS 11 to import settings from your previous phone. I'm not sure whether that takes care of two-factor authorization, but it might. Before you give the phone away, sign out of iCloud, go to general, choose Settings, then choose Erase All content and Settings. The person you give it to can then set it up and add it to their own account. Don't worry about deleting messages, etc.; that will be done by the reset command. I hope that helps.
