Hi Kathy, I've never used the app for newspapers, but to delete a book, you double-tap from the book to open the Book Actions menu. Then double-tap Library to go to your list of books. Then touch the title you want to delete, flick up or down to Archive, and double-tap. I would think newspapers would work similarly.
