Hi Christopher,

I believe Richard contacted the developer and she has tried to sell the app to
another developer since she can’t continue the work, but nobody wanted to buy
the app from her. You have to understand that just because you paid for an app
that does not mean it will definitely be supported or updated for the rest of
your life. If a developer can’t continue for personal reasons or because he or
she has become sick or just moved on to another job which requires all their
time then that is just how it is. You could say the same about an iPhone, I
paid a lot more for my iPhone 4S 6 years ago which I believe is probably about
the same time I bought List Recorder, but just because I paid for it doesn’t
mean Apple will continue to support it and make sure it gets the latest iOS
update, this is just not technologically possible. It sounds like in the case
of List Recorder personal reasons make it impossible for the original developer
to continue developing it and unfortunately that means List Recorder is an app
of the past most likely never to return.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Re: List Recorder App and IOS 11

Hi all I have contacted the development of this app to ask them to make sure
they update it we have all paid for this app so should also make sure that we
contact them so I urge everyone to send an email to the developer that way we
can get the product that we have paid for

Has there been any word on an update to List Recorder? This is an extremely
useful app. I have a lot of material recorded in the app.

Do we know if the developer is updating the app? How seriously should we take
the iOS 10 messages that the app will no longer be compatible with the next
version of IOS—meaning IOS 11?

If the app is not updated and if it truly will not be compatible with iOS 11,
how can one best move many audio recordings into a more commonly-readable audio
file format? I haven’t found the apps internal conversion process to be at all
intuitive.

Thanks for any help.
