Hi Rick,

I have a glass screen protector on my 6S Plus as well, but it could definitely
be different for different hardware. I think somebody said instead of a double
tap and hold they did a harder press on the button and swiped down, maybe give
that a try. I definitely had to tap right on that button for this to work for
me, it's not like a double tap to activate a button where after the button has
focus you can tap anywhere at least that did not work for me.

Regards,
Sieghard

I guess I just don't have the magic touch any more (lol)

Try as I may, following your tip to the tee, I still couldn't get that doc to
go away. I have a tempered glass screen protector on my 8 plus. Wonder if it's
interfering somehow? Or, is this maybe an iphone 8/8plus issue?

It is not the Store button, initially thought that was the one as well.
First of all, make sure you are in an iMessage not a regular text message.
Now, once you are in the edit field, swipe left once and you land on a button
called "Messaging Apps", that is the one you want.
I tried to do a double tap and hold and swipe down after I put focus on that
button and that for me at least didn't work. I had to actually find the button
on the screen, then do a double tap and hold and swipe down when I was on that
spot.
If that is the same for you, just move your finger left from the edit field and
you'll find it, if you go past it on the very outside and to the left of that
button is the "Attach Media" button.

Regards,
Sieghard

Which button are we pressing and holding on? When I press and hold on the store
button in that message doc nothing happens. Thanks for any assistance.
