Hi. I upgraded from an original series watch to a series 3. My original watch seemed to get slower and clunkier with each OS upgrade. When I put OS 4 on it, it was really unbearable at least in my opinion. My new series 3 GPS model now is like night and day. Everything is nice and snappy and very responsive. My original watch was so sluggish with OS 4 that I actually stopped using it until I received my series 3. If you can swing it, go for it because the difference is huge. I think that if I had had a series 2, I probably would not have upgraded but the original is now sorely underpowered.
