If you have Dropbox on your computer and your phone, you should be able to import a book from the Dropbox app on your phone to the BARD app. Go to the file within the Dropbox app and double tap on it. Then go to the top of the screen and double tap on the more actions menu. One choice you will be given is export, double tap on that. The share sheet menu will pop up, near the end you will find open in... , double tap that. Now in the pop up menu, you will find the BARD app listed. Double tap on it and it should import the book into the BARD app.
I have not did this in a while, but the last time I did, it worked just fine.
