Terry, There is no such phone as a 5 SE. There is the iPhone SE, and there are iPhone 5, 5c and 5s. assuming you have the iPhone SE, it should be fine by next September. What does the keyboard not charging have to do with the phone? You really need to take your phone to an Apple store if you want to have it checked out for problems. Or, at the very least, call Apple Accessibility and have them do the screen sharing where they could probably tell you once and for all which phone you have. You could also call Apple sales and get prices on the 6s. Good luck, Richard
