There are colour identifiers or maybe I should say analysers out there which cost $700 or even more, but who needs one that can recognize thousands of colours or provide the pantone code or whatever it is called. Even the Colorino which can do 150 colours I find sometimes calls things by names I find strange. For day to day use on clothing something which can describe two or three colours in easy to understand terms and say if there is a pattern such as checkered, vertical stripes or horizontal stripes is plenty good enough and for me that is more useful. Maybe Microsoft is going to manage to add a colour identifier channel to their Seeing AI app which is as good or better than Examine Clothes, that along with a good basic light detector app and a reliable and fast money reader would make this app even better than it already is.
