You can often have multiple readers in one book and not because it was designed that way, but because one reader read as much as they could, so someone else took over. But, if you are a student, and you cannot get the book any other way, it is a valuable service. But, if you are looking for books for pleasure reading, it would be my last choice. BARD uses professional readers, though some may be volunteers. They focus more on popular books and authors. But, they are getting more and more commercial audio books, which means their collection can grow more rapidly. And, BARD is free.
