When I was running iOS 11.0.2, there were a few times when I
couldn't clear the notifications on my 6S. The clear
notifications button was there, but I couldn't get the
confirmation button to appear. However, a reboot, meaning
turning the iPhone off and then back on, then let me clear them
without a problem. I haven't yet had that problem with iOS
11.0.3.

Then maybe try to double tap and then double tap confirm although
I just tried a triple tap and it did clear today's notifications
without the prompt to confirm on my 6S Plus.

I can't delete mine. I triple click the clear notifications
button for a given day, and they don't go away.

do not want to turn them off completely, but if I've cleared the
ones from earlier today, I don't want to find them again
