It saves absolutely zip to turn on the screen curtain. The battery drain from the screen comes from the amount of backlighting (mostly) and screen curtain does not change the backlighting, it just artifically blackens the screen. There are assumptions that on a phone with an OLED screen like the soon to be released iPhone X screen curtain might save battery, but I don't believe it until I hear official confirmation from Apple that this is so. In the meantime if you don't have sighted people using the phone set your brightness to 0% and turn off auto brightness, if anything this will save you a bit of battery. As well as latest app update. He told me today that he used to be able to see everything in his library. But that now this isn’t the case. He said that where he thinks he should see his library, I think he said this was toward the right side of his screen, it states screen curtain on, and won’t show the library. He says that if he does a search for something he’s purchased, it then will show it. Does anyone else use this App?
