I have an iPhone 6S and have been using Koss wired headphones for years. Over the past couple of weeks, perhaps since the latest IOS update but I'm not sure, I began noticing that the left channel was going in and out. Now, I don't get any sound at all from that channel. Thinking that my headphones were probably defective, I tried a different pair of Koss headphones with the same result. Then I swapped them for a really cheap Radio Shack pair just to be sure the issue had something to do with the hardware of the phone, only to have both channels work.
