Lois, VO is control plus options not control plus command. I do not know what you mean by a regular keyboard? Richard

I have tried with both the Logitech k480 and the AmazonBasics keyboard and it doesn’t work. I do not have access to an Apple Wireless keyboard. I wonder if it works with it?
