Sorry if you missed the warnings. Whenever I used apps that were 32 bit under iOS 10, I always got the warning that the app needed to be updated for future versions of iOS. There was a lot of talk about that prior to iOS 11. Have you contacted the developers of the apps that no longer work to see if they plan to update? It is totally on the shoulders of the developers since Apple had made it clear that they needed to update their apps to the 64 bit architecture.
