Hello Cheryl in my example I gave you before I was using my AT&T phone and used 
iCloud backed it up then got my sprint phone told that I wanted to restore from 
iCloud backup and I made sure that I pick the most recent backup from my other 
phone and the restore went fine yesterday patient because all the apps and 
things will take a little bit of time to transfer but it works fine for me
