I have the focus 40 and it's portable, too, just a little bit longer.

I use a Focus 14 with my iPhone. And it works fine. I have never heard of a
24 or 32 crl display. The Focus 14 costs around $1300. Plus, it's very
portable. Unless you have a Braillenote 18, that's the oqy one I can think
of. I think APH has a braille display that might work. Check there. Being
partially deaf, I hfound braille to be a lifesaver. I use it in combination
with speech at times.

bad?
8. Does ATC on the Actilino really work, perhaps canceling out the fact
that it is quite small? Anything sluggish simply is not going to cut it.
9. I have fairly small hands, so ergonomics requires easy access to
panning and the space bar; I also have had rather nasty tendinitis in my
dominant hand from using my cane and from too much typing on the iPhone,
so I have to take this into account.
10. I have seen the Focus line of displays and do not particularly like
them.
11. The Vario Ultra 20 looks pretty good, but I am not sure if it might be
too small; it would depend on how easy it is to move from line to line,
and I have seen some reviews which say it is more complicated than some of
the others, though I realize this is quite subjective.
12 I have seen the lists of supported displays, and cannot find reviews
for most of them.
Help! Please! Thanks so much. I need more inconspicuous access to my
reading; I feel rude having an earphone in my ear when others around me
are presenting or talking.
