The Beats Solo3 headphones remain paired with all the devices it connects to. Once it is paired for the first time, the I device remembers the headphones and connects to them. The headphones only connect to one device at a time though. The headphones fit over the ear just barely. To be compact and lightweight, the headphones are not like studio headphones that fit generously over the ear. Unfortunately, studio headphones are so big and bulky they cannot easily be carried in a pouch attached to my belt like the Beats Solo3. This is why the Solo3 goes on the bus, train and airplane.
