On the Today screen (the screen you get to when you swipe left to right with 3 fingers when you are on the first home screen. You can also get to it if you place focus on the picker control between the dock and the last row of home screen icons, where it says "2 of 4" or however many home screens you have. Your main home screen is "2" because the Today screen is "1", flick down with one finger and it goes to your Today screen. There is an "Edit" button at the very bottom where you can control which items are displayed and in what order.
