There are several settings that can impact what is read. I know there is one setting to have it stop after every sentence. There may be a setting to stop after each page. I’ve never had that issue. I will look through the settings and see what I find. You can set a voice for each book or set a preferred voice that will be the default. Other than iOS voices, the rest are purchases.But, you should be able to adjust which voices you are using under Manage My Voices in settings.
Depending on when you bought the app, you may have gotten one free voice already.
