Turn-by-turn directions are no longer fully announced with VoiceOver as of iOS 11. If spoken directions indicate to "turn left on King Street in .5 miles," VoiceOver only announces "0.5 miles, King street" when exploring the screen. This means that VO users who turn off audio announcements can no longer use Apple Maps for directions.
