Hi: Just bought the 980. Yes, it works with Alexa. Yes the app is accessible. I have a house with carpet, hardwood, tile, and area rugs. Have 1 guide dog, two cats. For the most part, George, my Roomba does very well. I run him on the downstairs level of my home. He gets under fernaturr, and does well. I still use the Dyson cordless in the bathrooms where the litter boxes. My baseboards are now clean. I set it for 2 passes.

Does it work with alexa? Do you remember about how much it cost? Have had it now for about 1.5 years. My apartment is 500 sq. Ft. For the most part Mr. Roboto (what I called him) does a pretty good job. I do sweep out corners every once in a while. Does both carpet and vinyl pretty good. I also have a guide dog, so keeps the hair down good. I usually have him run 3 times a week. Takes it about an hour to complete .. I have it set to do 2 passes. The app is pretty accessible...however things like the battery gauge and map aren’t. My only issue is that he seems to be stopping mid cycle quite regularly with an error 17...and there is no reason it should be doing that. Might just need a good cleaning. If I can’t find it, it has a locate feature...so as long as it still has battery I can find it. If you have any other questions...just ask...
